Since late November, affected by environmental protection factors, in Henan Province, the main production area of cored wire, production is limited to 30% to 50% in accordance with the regulations so that numerous cored producers are in poor operation condition that they can only undertake partly even if they can receive orders of a large amount because they cannot deliver the products on time. Some of the producers have even suspended production. The industry personage expresses helpless to it.

Since the beginning of December, domestic cored wire market has been still lackluster and there will not be large fluctuation in later market. In terms of raw materials, there is no fluctuation in alloy producers’ quotation. The prices of cold rolled strip steel have been stabilized after a large oscillation.

Generally speaking, there is no large change in market prices of cored wire. At present, calcium silicon cored wire (Ca28Si55) is 10,800 to 11,800 yuan per ton. Calcium silicon cored wire (Ca30Si58) is 12,000 to 12,500 yuan per ton. Pure calcium wire (Ca98%min∮9mm) is 9,600 to 10,0000 yuan per ton. Ferro-calcium wire (Ca30∮13mm) is 8,300 to 8,800 yuan per ton. Ferro-calcium wire (Ca30∮30mm) is 10,000 to 10,500 yuan per ton. Carbon wire (C98%∮13mm) is 6,200 to 6,600 yuan per ton. Seamless metal calcium wire (Ca98%min∮9mm) is 12,000 to 12,500 yuan per ton. Seamless metal calcium wire (Ca98%min∮10mm) is 17,000 to 17,500 yuan per ton. Silicon magnesium wire(Si40Mg28Re2∮13mm) is 11,500 to 12,500 yuan per ton. Nodulizer cored wire is 11,700 to 12,000 yuan per ton. The cold rolled steel strip SPCC0.35 *55 Q195 is 4,440 yuan per ton, SPCC0.35-0.39*55 is 4,470 yuan per ton and SPCC0.4-0.49*55 is 4,420 yuan per ton. It is estimated that cored wire market will be stable recently with no large price fluctuation.
