Due to falling of oil price, nonferrous metal including nickel was affected. Their prices fell down.By the end of trading, LME nickel price was quoted at 10840 USD/T yesterday. It was 155 USD/T lower than the price on Monday. Influenced by falling of LME nickel price, both Shanghai future nickel price and Jinchuan nickel price dropped down, so did Russian nickel price. Compared with Wuxi 1901 contract, the discount of Russian  nickel was 100-200 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 5800 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 94000 RMB/T. It was 1600 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

The stainless steel was in good condition due to insufficient supply. However, some steel plants halted their production, and the output of ferronickel was not decreased.So, ferronickel price could not rise up. Besides, due to declining of LME nickel price, the price of low grade ferronickel fell down. The mainstream price was 3450-3500 RMB/T. The high grade ferronickel price kept steady. It was quoted at 930-945 RMB/Nickel.
