Two iron ore mines in Odisha accepted to be auctioned by government
The legislature has conceded the closeout of two iron mineral mines having stores of 93.87 million tons in Odisha, as indicated by a Mines Ministry report. The legislature has not given any explanation behind conceding the bartering of the mines. while the Chandiposhi iron ore block in Sundergarh, Odisha, has stores of 47.07 million tons (MT), the Purheibahal square has stores of 46.80 MT, the report said. The notice welcoming delicate for both the mines was discharged on February 23. The service is separately wanting to sell two limestone Obstructs in Chhattisgarh one month from now. Both the mines have "no closure use reservation", the service said.
The administration so far has sold 50 mines, including 23 limestone, 17 press mineral, four gold, two every one of manganese and graphite squares and one every one of bauxite and precious stone square.
From the 50 mineral squares sold so far since 2015, the administration will procure an income of Rs 1.81 lakh crore over the rent time frame.
