[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, U.S government had been in shutdown condition for a long time. U.S dollar went down a little, and oil price dropped by 2%. IMF cut down growth rate forecast of global economy in world’s economy forecast report published on Monday. It made traders become netative in global market. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 11595 USD/T. It was 215 USD/T lower than the price on Monday. Due to declining of LME nickel price, the domestic future nickel price dropped down largely. Compared with Wuxi 1902 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was zero, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was  800-900 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 94500 RMB/T, it was 700 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday. 

The Spring Festival is coming soon. The stainless steel market kept steady, so did the ferronickel market. Today, the mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 950-965 RMB/Nickel, and the low grade ferronickel was quoted at 3350-3500 RMB/T.
