[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, U.S dollar stopping rising. Its index fell down compared with the index on the day before yesterday. Crude oil price of OPEC lifted up. However, its expected demand decreased. Meanwhile, the prices of blace series products fell down. So, LME nickel price dropped down. It was quoted at 12390 USD/T. It was 80 USD/T lower than the price on last trading day. The trading volume in domestic future nickel market was still less. Influenced by fall of LME nickel price, the price of domestic future nickel fell down. Compared with Wuxi 1903 contract, the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 300 RMB/T, and the discount of Russian nickel was 200 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 99000 RMB/T. It was 600 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

After rising for two days, the price of stainless steel stopped rising today. The increased capacity of ferronickel did not reach people’s expection, the ferronickel supply was still insufficient. Today, the price of high grade ferronickel rose up a little. The mainstream price was 980-1010 RMB/Nickel. The low grade ferronickel price remained the same. It was quoted at 3250-3450 RMB/T.
