The trading volume of Shanghai future nickel was less, and the price dropped down largely. Compared with Wuxi 1905 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was 800 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 2800 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 101200 RMB/T. It was 800 RMB/T lower than the price yesterday.

The steel plants were not positive in the ferronickel market, and the stainless steel market was still in downturn. So, the price of ferronickel kept on dropping. The mainstream price of high grade ferronickel was 970-985 RMB/Nickel, and the premium of Russian nickel was 3200-3400 RMB/T.
