[ferro-alloys.com]Recently, the nickel ore export ban in Indonesia has affected nickel market. The Indonesian relevant government department said that there were no nickel ore export ban at present. So, the prices of nickel series products went down. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 15660 USD/T. It was 170 USD/T lower than the price on last Thursday. The trading volume was not as large as people’s expection. Due to fall of LME nickel price,the price of future nickel dropped down largely.Compared with Shanghai future nickel 1909 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 800-1200 RMB/T. Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 122000 RMB/T, it was 5000 RMB/T lower than the price on last Friday.

Due to downturn of nickel market, the high grade ferronickel was quotd at 1070-1090 RMB/Nickel, it was lower than the price on last Friday. The low grade ferronickel was 3050-3250 RMB/T.
