The market transaction statistics shows that in Henan, Jiangsu and Liaoning, the mainstream transaction price of carbon cored wire C98%∮13mm is 7,200 - 7,700 yuan per ton, which varies according to the contents of carbon, sulfur and phosphorus.

The market situation of nodularizer cored wire has got better after being sluggish for more than a half year. The operation rate of downstream foundry works has got improved so that the demand for nodularizer cored wire has increased. Some manufacturers have received more orders. The price of rear earth magnesium silicon, the raw material, remains stable. For this reason, the manfacturers have not adjusted their offers of nodularizer cored wire yet. The market transaction statistics shows that in Henan, Liaoning and Shandong, the mainstream transaction price of nodularizer cored wire still remains at 9,800-10,300 yuan per ton, which varies according to specific content and technique.

Recently, it is estimated that the price of cold rolled strip steel will still fluctuate, but tends to be stable on the whole. As the downstream steel mills have recovered production in succession, the demand for cored wire will increase gradually.
