"We've guided power companies to take precautionary measures and vowed to resolve issues companies are facing such as surging demand for energy," Lu added. "We are working hard to ensure the electricity supply for newly built Huoshenshan Hospital, Leishenshan Hospital and makeshift hospitals in Wuhan."
More efforts will be made to offer a better waning system, guarantee the supply of various types of energy, establish better systems for the production, supply, storage and sale of natural gas, the NEA said.
According to the NEA, power, gas and heating companies are not allowed to stop the supply for residents temporarily not paying fees amid the coronavirus outbreak.(Chinadaily.com.cn)
