[ferro-alloys.com]Due to downturn of U.S macroeconomy, the index of U.S dollar went down. There was some good news about macroeconomies in other countries. So, LME nickel price went up. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 14270 USD/T. It rose up by 285 USD/T. Due to upturn of global nickel market, the future nickel price went up in domestic market. The trading volume was still less. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2009 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 200-300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 200-300 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 114500 RMB/T. It was 3000 RMB/T higher than the price on last trading day.

Due to upturn of nickel market, both the stainless-steel price and ferronickel price rose up today. In Jiangsu and Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price was 980-990 RMB/Nickel. In Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Province, the price was 975-980 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3450 RMB/T.
