[ferro-alloys.com]Recently, the demand for nickel was sufficient in global market. So, nickel market kept on rising. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 14905 USD/T. It rose up by 140 USD/T. Today, the purchase volume was less in domestic market of future nickel. Due to upturn of LME nickel market, the price of future nickel rose up. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2010 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 200-300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 500-600 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 117700 RMB/T. It was 500 RMB/T higher than the price on last trading day.

Due to upturn of stainless-steel market, the supply of ferronickel was insufficient. So, the ferronickel price kept on rising. In Jiangsu, Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price reached 1110 RMB/T at most. In Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Province, the price was 1090-1100 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3450 RMB/T.
