[ferro-alloys.com]Last week, the index of U.S dollar dropped down, so LME nickel price rose up by 25 USD/T. LME nickel was quoted at 14400 USD/T. In the morning, the index of U.S dollar went up again. So, the future nickel market was in downturn in domestic market. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2011 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 200-300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 2100-2200 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 113800 RMB/T. It was 1200 USD/T lower than the price on last trading day.

The stainless-steel market was in upturn. However, the nickel market was in downturn. So, the ferronickel price could not rise up.In Jiangsu, Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price reached 1165 RMB/T at most. In Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Province, the price was 1155-1165 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3450 RMB/T.
