By the end on trading, LME nickel was quoted at 16070 USD/T. It went down by 80 USD/T. Due to downturn of LME nickel market, the future nickel price went down a little in domestic market. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2101 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was from 150 to 250 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 4900-5100 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 123000 RMB/T. It was 500 USD/T lower than the price on last trading day.

Due to downturn of stainless-steel market, the ferronickel price went down further. Today, in Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price was 1020-1030 RMB/Nickel. In Jiangsu and Liaoning Provinces, the price was 1010-1020 RMB/Nickel. In Inner Mongolia, the price was 1000-1010 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3400 RMB/T.
