[ferro-alloys.com]Due to slack currency policy and Covid-19 vaccine progress, nickel market was in upturn. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 16685 USD/T. It rose up by 315 USD/T. Due to upturn of LME nickel market, the future nickel price rose up a little. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2101 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was from 0 to 50 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 3000-3400 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 125500 RMB/T. It was 1700 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day.

Previous downturn of stainless-steel market still affected nickel product market. The ferronickel price was stable. Today, in Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price was 1030-1050 RMB/Nickel. In Jiangsu and Liaoning Provinces, the price was 1020-1040 RMB/Nickel. In Inner Mongolia, the price was 1010-1030 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3400 RMB/T.
