PrintEMM Market showing up Trend - China
[Ferro-Alloys.com] After the Spring Festival, China Mn market was quite stable at first, but EMM Market had showed up trend on 21st, February. Thus the EMM price had increased by RMB 200/mt to RMB13,600-13,800/mt in southern China. The reasons are as follows.
Firstly, it was due to the low operating rates. Since the long holiday had just passed away, more Mn plants had not come back to producing line. Thus the Mn market showed short supply in the later month. Secondly, as the domestic market was not clear enough in this week, market players were unwilling to sell at low prices. The last was because of the steel mills’ bids in the following week, besides, more steel mills such as Bao Steel rose up steel prices in March, and it is believed that EMM Market was possible to change better in text month.
And on its export market, it was quite stable this week. The current export price was around USD2,300/mt, FOB. In European countries, it had lifted up slightly to USD2,540-2,580/mt.
