Print[Ferro-Alloys.com] US ferrotitanium prices are stable at USD3.30-3.35 per lb, with some activity. In Europe prices are USD6.90-7.00 per kg. Traders report that there is plenty of material available in the market.
The VSMPO FeTi that reportedly was contaminated with asbestos (Ryan’s Notes, Dec. 3, 2012 ptk ) is believed to have been returned to the C. Steinweg warehouse in Rotterdam for cleaning. “We may have even more of a surplus on our hands when that material is released back into the market,” said a trader.
