European Q2 Ferrochrome Contract Prices Rise

Recently the South African ferrochrome suppliers have reached agreement with the European stainless steel mills for the Q2 ferrochrome prices.

The ferrochrome contract prices are at USD 1.27/lb for the Q2, rising by USD 0.145/lb from a quarter ago.

In Europe the spot prices of ferrochrome have surged to USD 1.02~USD 1.06/lb from USD 0.97~USD 1.01/lb since this year.
