【Ferro-alloys.com】Vale S.A. announced sales results for the fourth quarter and full year 2021.

For the quarter, the company reported iron ore sales of 83,147,000 metric tons against 82,825,000 metric tons a year ago. Pallets sales were 10,351,000 metric tons against 8,486,000 metric tons a year ago. Manganese Ore sales were 35,000 metric tons against 461,000 metric tons a year ago. Coal sales were 2,650,000 metric tons against 1,534,000 metric tons a year ago. Nickel sales were 44.7 kt against 58.8 kt a year ago. Copper sales were 73.7 kt against 93.0 kt a year ago.

For the Year, Company reported iron ore sales of 277,508,000 metric tons against 254,865,000 metric tons a year ago. Pallets sales were 32,306,000 metric tons against 31,211,000 metric tons a year ago. Manganese Ore sales were 573,000 metric tons against 1,378,000 metric tons a year ago. Coal sales were 7,849,000 metric tons against 5,866,000 metric tons a year ago. Nickel sales were 181.8 kt against 183.1 kt a year ago. Copper sales were 284.5 kt against 346.3 kt a year ago.
