According to data released by the Korean Iron and Steel Association Korea’s exports of hot rolled stainless steel plates totaled 47,441 tonne in March, falling by 18.5% from a month ago and decreasing by 6.9% YoY.

Meanwhile, the export prices averaged at USD 1,930 per tonne rising by 0.6% MoM.

Among them, 27,660 tonne were exported to Southeast Asia, 13,032 tonne were to Europe and 5,922 tonne were too Northeast Asia.

To specify steel grades, the exports of 300 grades totaled 25,574 tonne those of 400 grades were at 21,790 tonne
