GM and Samsung partner to build a new battery factory in the US

[Fellow]GM and Samsung SDI have announced that they are partnering to build a new battery cell factory in the US to power GM's electric vehicles.

The 19th China Ferro-alloys International Conference, co-hosted by China Chamber of Commerce of Metals Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters (CCCMC) & Ferro-Alloys.com ，Supported by China Ferroalloys Industrial Association, will be held on 31 May to 2 June 2023 in Beijing, China.

GM and Samsung SDI have announced that they are partnering to build a new battery cell factory in the US to power GM's electric vehicles.

But GM and Samsung SDI are not ready to disclose where in the US the new factory will be located.
