[Fellow]Republican Senator Marcio Rubio on May 3 asked the Biden administration to investigate Ford Motor Co's decision in March to join PT Vale Indonesia and China's Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt as their new partner in a $4.5 billion nickel processing plant in Indonesia.

US Senator seeks probe of Ford Chinese partnership on Indonesia nickel processing plant

Republican Senator Marcio Rubio on May 3 asked the Biden administration to investigate Ford Motor Co's decision in March to join PT Vale Indonesia and China's Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt as their new partner in a $4.5 billion nickel processing plant in Indonesia.
Rubio said the venture threatens U.S. national security and asked the Justice, State, Treasury, Commerce, Homeland Security and Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate the deal.
