According to data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US imported 74,713 tons of stainless steel products in March, falling by 4.3% from a month ago.
Among them, 5,274 tons were stainless steel coils and sheets, decreasing by 38.18%; 2,848 tons were cut-to-length stainless steel plates, falling by 18.8%; 5,473 tons were hot rolled stainless steel sheets, dropping by 22.1% and 19,848 tons were cold rolled stainless steel sheets, down by 10.7%, all compared to those in a month ago.
