Recently, the company reportedly celebrated the commissioning of the first phase of the scrap processing facility with around 100 invited guests.

Last 2023 was a challenging period for Feralpi Stahl, especially in the context of the electrical steel mill, with the massive increase in electricity prices following the attack on Ukraine.
The present federal policy decisions were reportedly insufficient to help the company deal with these energy challenges. The federal government canceled the subsidy for utility charges, leading to a significant increase in charges in 2024.This is predicted to have a negative impact on production costs at Feralpi Stahl.
