China's 2024 iron-ore imports seen similar to last year's - Vale
Imports of iron-ore by China, the world's biggest buyer, in 2024 are expected to be around 1.17-billion to 1.18-billion metric tons, similar to last year's 1.18-billion tons, a senior official of miner Vale said on Wednesday.
China's iron-ore imports in the first quarter of 2024 totalled 310.13-million tons, up 5.5% from a year earlier, customs data showed.
