At present, many factories had to suspended production until the end of this year for high cost and poor market demand. Some producers even lose confidence on future market, and believe that slim market trend would last one year, but most producers consider that manganese alloys future market would depend largely on government policy and market demand.
Although manganese ore、rich manganese slag and coke price all slips, poor steel mills market directly results in silicon manganese price down sharply. As a result, it is predicted that silicon manganese price would linger at RMB12,000/mt, a bit up price in the fourth quarter manganese ore might be a good point to supply silicon manganese market.
