[Ferro-Alloys.com] London Metal Exchange copper prices fell on Wednesday August 14, as strong US and European data failed to keep prices above the $7,300-per tonne level during early Asian trading.

At 02:20 London time, three-month copper stood at $7,275, down $11 from its open. The contract had earlier reached a morning high of $7,326.50 per tonne in response to positive news from the USA and Germany. “Stronger economic data from the USA and Europe boosted sentiment, but market opinions diverted as prices approached $7,300 per tonne.
