[Ferro-Alloys.com] Some ferro-alloys smelters in China’s Inner Mongolia region that had shut down last month following environmental checks have resumed production, market sources in China told Metal Bulletin.
A team from Beijing conducted an inspection in Wulanchabu where many ferro-chrome, silico-manganese and nickel pig iron smelters are based. "As far as I know, smelters that can meet emission standards have restarted recently,” a major ferro-chrome producer told Metal Bulletin, adding that four of its seven furnaces in Fengzhen are running now.
