[Ferro-Alloys.com] Market participants pointed out that production of aluminum has greatly reduced and the global economy is expected to recover; therefore, the outlook of aluminum prices is expected to rebound soon.
Moreover, Rusal, the world's biggest aluminum producer, predicted that the global aluminum price may be around US$2,000/ton this year, US$2,250/ton in 2015 and US$2,400/ton in 2016.
The LME's aluminum prices hit a 4 and half year low of $1,700/ton. The prices of aluminum fell with base metals due to the poor performance of manufacturing data of China and the U.S.
