Print[Ferro-Alloys.com] It is learned that Brazilian government decided to close the 18 months long investigation against South Korean’s rolled steel products due to there is no evidence shows local steelmakers suffer damage caused by such imported products.
The South Korean’s steelmakers such as Posco and Hyundai exported rolled steel products to Brazil by USD215 million in 2010 and USD132 million in 2011 respectively, according to data from the government of South Korea.
In fact, the two countries have very close commercial cooperation, the bilateral commerce account s for USD 14.8 billion in 2011, which means South Korea is the No. 7 biggest business partner for Brazil.
