[Ferro-alloys.com] Silicon metal price kept increasing mid-September in China. And the demand for silicon metal this month exceeded the supply. Silicon metal consumers were active on purchase. Now the silicon metal market was functioning well generally.

Until mid-September, quotations were as follows: Kunming delivered price for off-grade Si553#, RMB12,500-12,600/mt, Si553#, RMB13,000-13,200/mt and Si441#, RMB13,400-13500/mt; Tianjin port price for Si421#, RMB14,200-14,300/mt and Si411#, RMB14,400-14,500/mt; much higher prices of Si2202# and Si3303#.

The National Day was drawing closer, and the consumers were going to purchase silicon metal for next month. And silicon metal price would still keep firm.
