[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to statistics released by the Turkish Iron and Steel Producers' Association (TCUD), the country’s crude steel output totaled 2.8 million tons in November, decreasing by 8.6% year on year and up by 3% from a month ago.
In the January-November period, Turkey’s crude steel production amounted to 31.23 million tons, declining by 1.7% year on year.
In the given period of time, billet output totaled 22.56 million tons, down by 6.5%; those of slab were at 8.67 million tons, up by 13.5%, both compared to those in the same period of a year ago.
