The U.S. International Trade Commission will expedite its five-year review of an anti-dumping duty order on pure magnesium from China.
The review, announced in June, is the third for the anti-dumping order, which the Commerce Department originally issued in May 1995.
The commission generally doesn’t hold a hearing or conduct further investigative activities in expedited reviews, the ITC said in a statement.
The commissioners will use prior reviews and determinations of injury, responses to the June notice and information from Commerce to make the decision. Continuations of the duty were approved in October 2000 and July 2006
