[www.ferro-alloys.com] Chile National Price Distorted of Investigation Commission (CNDP) proposed that the Chile government imposed 38.9% of protection tax on imports of wire rod.

This decision does not include imports of wire rod from Canada, Mexico and Peru, because wire rod imports in these countries are not very high. Those for CHQ wire is not included in the decision.

Currently, the products are protected by 38.9% with product customs codes involved 7213.2000, 7213.9110, 7213.9120, 7213.9190, 7227.2000 and 7227.9000.
