【Ferro-alloys.com】According to the export data of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the total U.S. tool steel exports in May 2021 were 5,161 tons, a decrease of 2.7% from April, but an increase of 160.7% from the level in May 2020. In terms of value, the total export of tool steel in May was US$10.3 million, compared with US$11.1 million in the previous month and US$4.6 million in the same month last year.
The United States exported the most tool steel to Mexico in May at 4,322 tons, compared with 5,154 tons in April and 1,647 tons in May 2020. There were no other important destinations for US tool steel exports in May (1,000 tons or more).
