[Ferro-Alloys.com]On July，8^th, the LME nickel opening price was USD$13305/mt, the highest price reached to USD$13475/mt, and the lowest price was USD$13300/mt. The closing price increased by USD$134 to USD$13444/mt. the LME nickel stock decreased by198 tons to 193578tons.

 

Last Friday (July 5th), the U.S. payrolls data were released, which were better than the market expectation, promoting the dollar index increased much to 84.59, recording the highest point since July, 2010. But it made the market worried about the American government would exit the quantitative easing policy, resulting the LME nickel price decreased to the lowest standard—USD$13298/mt in recent four years. On July 8^th, the Dollar index decreased to 84.3, and meanwhile the European policy and economic news was not bad, which promoted the LME nickel price rising a little in recent days, the Dollar index increased much, adding to the high stock and the weak economic condition of China, the Chinese market was pessimistic of the future trend.
