It is said that mills purchasing on ferromanganese knocked down around RMB7,500/mt (USD1,103/mt). Slim demand leads to producers continuously readjust quoted price. In addition, it is reported that Sha steel purchase MC ferromanganese with RMB8,000/mt (USD1,323.5/mt), but in fact, most plants still insist on price with RMB9,600-9,800/mt (USD1,411.8-1,441.2/mt). Many insiders believe that downtrend of ore price results in ferromanganese still has a dropping space in the near future.
